Kaiteriteri Gold Half Marathon: Starting on the renowned Kaiteriteri beachfront follow the undulating and picturesque coastline before climbing the Sandy Bay Hill. Following the steady descent to Sandy Bay there's more undulating coastline as you make your way back to finish on the golden sands of Kaiteriteri.

You will follow Kaiteriteri Rd through to Riwaka turnoff. Continue straight (towards Takaka) and turn right onto Sandy Bay/Marahau Rd (the start of the infamous hill!) and then a 'dogleg' towards Marahau after which it's a left turn toward Kaiteriteri, around the bays to finish at the beach.

Kaiteriteri Gold 10km: The 10km is an out and back course from Kaiteriteri Beach towards Marahau and return.
