This hui is raranga and tikanga based, tutored by the weaving group 'Te awhi rito'.

Our group of weavers can take you to the next level with your raranga, you could learn a new type of kete, kete whakairo (patterned kete), piikau (backpack), whaariki (floor/wall mat).

If you are a beginner, you will be shown tikanga around cutting and care of harakeke plants.
