Huts, Hearths and Homemakers

Wednesday 19th-Friday 21st April 2017

Huts, Hearths and Homemakers is a special tour of Nelson Provincial Museum for Heritage Week 2017.

Join Jessie Bray Sharpin for a fascinating tour of the museum’s Regional History Galleries, exploring the challenges faced by the men and women who chose to make the new settlement of Nelson ‘home’. Letters and diaries from the Nelson Provincial Museum collection will be used to provide listeners with first-hand accounts of the experiences of our pioneer predecessors.
