Temperance & Vice - A talk by Jessie Bray Sharpin

Temperance & Vice’ is a gallery talk fundraiser to help Jessie Bray Sharpin pay for a course she has been selected for in the UK, the Open Palace Programme.

The talk will include stories about some of the first breweries and public houses, temperance and its link to the Suffrage movement, and interesting characters like Biddy of the Buller, Alfred Saunders and Isobel Broad.
