The regions finest youth musicians return to the stage for a dose of bass thumping, drum pumping live music to warm you up this winter.

With over 15 unique acts on stage across the region, Rock the Region brings rocking, popping, folking, funking, hip hoping good times, with shows taking place in Motueka, Pohara and Nelson City.

ROCK THE MOT - SATURDAY 27 MAY
The lineup is complete and Rock the Mot features an assortment of local, homegrown talent:

Hip hop wordsmith, rapper and poet Los Phoenix; acoustic duo Tagan & Jess, reformed four piece garage rock band pioneers, Rekindled Pursuit;
and the newly formed Motueka High School grunge group Quarter Black.

Rounding off the evenings entertainment will be DJ LOWE and DJ FEED, bringing bass banging beats to the mix, with support from lyrical extrodinaire Son of Entee.

The events are strictly alcohol and drug free, are free to attend and targeted at 15-24 year olds. Security and youth workers will be on hand to ensure a happy and safe time for all.
