Entropy

Tuesday 29th August-Saturday 16th September 2017

Opening Preview, Monday 28 August, 5:30pm.
All Welcome.

Entropy:
1. A thermodynamic quantity representing the unavailability of a system's thermal energy for conversion into mechanical work, often interpreted as the degree of disorder or randomness in the system.
2. Lack of order or predictability; gradual decline into disorder.

'The work is about the way we know and understand time, the past, history, the present and how it operates in our current socio-cultural situation. Entropy is constantly increasing. The universe is expanding, humans are moving things around and there are more possible states for systems to take on. The increase of entropy means the increase of disorder. I want this room to be a metaphor for time, what it does to us and how we exist within it, for society and for life. '
