Richmond Library: Philip Simpson – Author Visit

Wednesday 8th November 2017

Join us at Richmond Library for renowned author and ethnobotanist Philip Simpson’s talk about his new book Tōtara: A Natural and Cultural History.

Philip’s previous books Dancing Leaves (about tī kouka, the cabbage tree) and Pohutukawa and Rata (New Zealand’s iron-hearted trees) were hugely popular and his new book about the magnificent Tōtara is a wonderful addition to the literature available on New Zealand native flora.
Don’t miss this fascinating talk with one of New Zealand’s most interesting writers.

Book signings and sales will be available. Cash only - $75 a copy.
