Twelfth Night

Thursday 11th-Saturday 20th January 2018

“If music be the food of love, play on.”
Following last year’s “heart warming” A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Nelson Summer Shakespeare returns with a professional production of the hilarious and heart-breaking tale of unrequited love. Viola falls in love with Orsino, who dotes on Olivia (who is idolised by Malvolio), who falls in love with Viola.
Shipwrecked twins, disguises, plots and counter plots make Twelfth Night one of Shakespeare’s most adored plays.

Suitable for the whole family. Bring a picnic, bring a blanket and set sail for Illyria.

...this production hits it out of the park-do not miss it! Easily understood, filled with song and laughter you really get what The Bard was going after. If you have never seen a live production for fear of not understanding the language go to this show.

Terrifically entertaining and such a very, very good laugh.

A real jewel in the summer crown for Nelson and the top of the south.
