Sarau Festival

Sunday 28th January 2018

This is a late afternoon festival to celebrate the fabulous Moutere Valley and its people, together with the NZ Blackcurrant growing industry - an important crop in our horticultural district. Find out about blackcurrants, and hop growing, together with the other interesting crops and crafts out here in the Valley!
The Sarau Festival has something for everyone - interesting stalls to discover, artisans to chat to, workshops to take part in, and events for children to participate in - all in our spacious open Domain.
Remember to bring along your entries for our wonderful Barker’s Cooking Competition, and to enter the other competitions and workshops, check out our website www.saraufestival.co.nz.
Browse our book stall, listen to our fantastic musicians and enjoy food, wine and beer or yummy blackcurrant juice and deserts as the sun goes down over the Mount Arthur range.
Our Sarau Festival has a special focus on recycling so help us by bringing along your own cup and plate.
See you at Sarau Festival!
