Richmond Library: Book Launch – Emilia’s Colours

Thursday 22nd February 2018

Join us for the launch of Emilia’s Colours by Ali Beasley.

Emilia’s Colours is a moving account of Ali Beasley’s experience of parenting her daughter Emilia, who lives with autism.

Ali says, “Living with autism challenges you to parent in a different way, opening your mind to new approaches to looking at a situation and developing resilience. People with autism have a unique way of looking at the world and inherent in this ‘difference’ are many amazing gifts.”

Ali wrote Emilia’s Colours to raise more awareness and understanding around autism and hopes her book can offer support to other families, parents and others involved in working with people with autism.
