Hints and Tips to get the most from ItsOn:

  • List your event early! Local print publications have a lead time of 4 – 6 weeks, and the Air NZ and Interislander magazines are even longer.
  • Run a competition. Competitions are featured on the Home Page of the website and in the fortnightly newsletter for extra publicity and exposure.
  • Add a great photo. Events with photos get more hits and are more likely to be included in the newsletter. Choose a strong bright and colourful image for maximum impact. If you don't have an image, generic images which are royalty and copyright free can be sourced at MorgueFile.com
  • Like the ItsOn facebook page and post updates and pictures about your event at NelsonTasmanEvents
  • Display an A3 size poster in the Nelson i-SITE window.

  • Sign up to receive the fortnightly newsletters so you know what’s coming up in your community.
  • Browse the Event Planning Directory to find marketing professionals who can help with marketing plans, PR, social media, graphic design, website design and signage.
