The Village Green is a popular lunch time spot and there is room to seat about 200 people on the grass area in front of the platform stage. Various art works adorn the Village Green including a Jocelynne Bacci marble fountain and a Chris Findlayson mural.

Keep an eye out for lots of free community events that take place here throughout the year, and for the regular Friday day-time market.
