French Film Festival

Wednesday 14th-Wednesday 28th March 2018

The Alliance Française French Film Festival has firmly established itself as the foremost French cultural event in New Zealand. Reaching out to about 35,000 people every year, the Festival is the second largest film festival in the country and showcases France and the French-speaking world in all its diversity.

The Festival is organised by the French Film Arts Trust, a not for profit organisation dedicated to the promotion of French cinema.

Every year the Festival gives an insight into contemporary French film production. The programme offers a large choice of films, from more intimate auteur cinéma to genre films and big entertainment, inviting the audience to ’travel’ the world and experience – One language, but a world of emotions.
