The Hare and the Tortoise
Everyone knows that the slow-and-steady Tortoise beat the bragging Hare in the famous race - but when their great-grandkids Sheldon the tortoise and Jack Rabbit are talked into a rematch, anything could happen. The race will be on live TV, and their friends have a lot of ideas about how Ro-Shell and Jack can beat one another, but only good sportsmanship can win the day in this zany, lighthearted retelling of the classic fable.
This comedic play by Sean Abley will be another colourful adventure by Live Arts.
Suitable for all ages
The Kings New Clothes
The King has a splendid new suit - the Queen and all their subjects agree. The problem? Not even he can see it. This large-cast adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's classic The Emperor's New Clothes is a funny and fast-paced parable about pride, self-delusion, and self-love.
This short play by Kaefan Shaw promises to be another colourful comedic event by Live Arts Nelson.
Suitable for all ages - this show will have a short 15 minute intermission.
