Cook's Cook

Saturday 20th October 2018

Gavin Bishop follows the 1768 journey of Captain James Cook’s H.M.S. Endeavour with the ship’s cook, the one-handed John Thompson, as storyteller.

Cook’s Cook features real recipes, events on board and the places the ship travelled on its journey to the Pacific. Discover more about this beautiful book – which is for five to nine year olds but will appeal to all ages – in time for the 250th anniversary of the Endeavour’s journey. Chaired by fellow children’s book author Tania Norfolk.

Recommended for children aged five and older.
