Monday 3rd-Saturday 29th September 2018

Opening Preview, Monday 3 September, 5:30 - 7pm, All Welcome.
Brooke Georgia, Christchurch based brings her body of work, which she describes.....
'This body of work looks at issues of belonging and displacement.
From pieces alluding to a lack of home or place, and a series of drawings resembling an instruction manual to not be quite whole, quite like “every body else”.
This work is relentlessly full of longing and discomfort.

The pillows never reach the floor, the makeshift tent is no refuge, the figures in the drawings are puppets, or mannequins never entirely whole, never entirely dressed. With posts for legs or feet or arms everything is makeshift in this world of tomorrow or yesterday.'
