Your guide to events in Nelson, New Zealand
Thursday 1st-Thursday 29th November 2018
NaNoWriMo is National Novel Writing Month and a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing.
On November 1, participants begin working towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 PM on November 30.
Valuing enthusiasm, determination, and a deadline, NaNoWriMo is for anyone who has ever thought about writing a novel.
Whether you’re interested in writing a novel in a month nor not, NaNoWriMo is a great opportunity to get writing.
Richmond Library wants to help you with your writing goals by providing the time, space and opportunity to really get stuck in. So every Thursday in November, between 11.00am-2.00pm, the Constance Barnicoat room at Richmond Library will be available for you to Come Write In.
Bring pen and paper or laptop (make sure it’s fully charged in case there aren’t enough available electrical sockets), snacks or lunch, a bottle of water, and we’ll provide the table, chairs, space, time and quiet.
Free. All welcome.
