Your guide to events in Nelson, New Zealand
Tuesday 27th November 2018
Amy Hindley, author of Not a Leg To Stand On, has an extraordinary story to tell.
Born with spina bifida, Amy voluntarily had her legs amputated in her late teens.
Not a Leg To Stand On, published in 2008, is written with incredible humour and joie de vivre, despite its often dark subject matter.
Join us in the Constance Barnicoat room at Richmond Library to hear Amy’s extraordinary story.
It’s free, everyone is welcome to attend, and bookings are not required.
Amy Hindley’s talk is part of our range of talks and events supporting NaNoWriMo – National Novel Writing Month – throughout November.
