The Power of Personal Impact

Thursday 17th January 2019

Whether you’re pitching an idea, chairing a meeting or auditioning for a part in a play, if you want to make an impact on your world, you need charisma. Prof. Ken Rea has worked with and trained some of the most charismatic people in the world, including actors such as Ewan McGregor, Lily James, Hayley Atwell,
Damian Lewis and Daniel Craig, and also senior executives in organisations such as the BBC, KLM, British Telecom, Google, NATO and NatWest.
In this interactive talk he will show you practical tools that help you step up to the next level of influence. Drawing on the secret techniques that actors use to keep an audience enthralled, he’ll show you how you can project greater self-confidence and gravitas, and radiate a presence that makes people notice, the moment you walk into the room.
Ken Rea, a New Zealander, is Professor of Theatre at the renowned Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, where he has trained some of Britain’s most
famous actors and film stars. He has worked with many theatres, including the Royal Shakespeare Company. His book The Outstanding Actor, Seven Keys to Success has inspired both actors and business leaders, and has become a bestseller.
