Richmond Library: Te Ao Māori - Pounamu Carving

Tuesday 5th March 2019

Timoti Moran spends most of his days designing, carving pounamu and talking with clients, hearing their stories and working with them to design a piece that tells the story they want to tell.

Timoti says, “I really enjoy connecting with my customers on this personal level and then being able to tell their stories through my carving.”

Join us at Richmond Library for a talk by Timoti about his pounamu carving practice.

Don’t miss the opportunity to attend this fascinating talk.

This talk is part of Richmond Library’s Te Ao Māori series of talks and workshops celebrating the beauty and diversity of the Māori world. Visit our website to find out more: www.tasmanlibraries.govt.nz
