Richmond Library: Book Launch – Inca Magic by Margarita Giles

Tuesday 12th March 2019

Join us for the launch of the inspiring memoir of a woman who not only spent decades as an adventure tour guide in South America, but survived a severe stroke to become a published writer.

Margarita Giles spent her childhood dreaming of traveling to the Amazon. As an adult, this dream came true and Margarita became an adventure tour guide in South America, leading hundreds of intrepid travellers on exciting journeys to remote parts of the world.

At age 61, Margarita had a severe stroke. Since then, Margarita has applied the same strength of character which saw her travel to “risky” and “out there” places, to regaining her speech, mobility and sense of self.

Come along to the book launch of Inca Magic to hear the inspirational story of Margarita’s journey from death’s door to becoming a published writer.
