Improvised Theatre Workshop

Saturday 18th May 2019

Explore the art of improvising open scenes in a safe, structured space.

We will connect as a group and then explore the art of open scene creation. These scenes can go anywhere and be anything. They don't have a set of specific scene rules they need to adhere to, they are open! We will explore the who, what and where of improvised scene creation to help you on your way. We will give scenes space to unfold and practice 'jumping' on the offers that arise, going deeper into the gifts that come our way unexpectedly and may otherwise go unnoticed. At least one term of prior improv training required, so we have a common platform to launch our investigation from.

Get in touch if you're keen but aren't sure if you have the experience needed.

We will also have a shared afternoon tea, delightful!

Tutor: Lisa Allan, Wintergreen Creative.
