Nelson Institute talk: Fight for the Forests

Paul Benseman, author of 'Fight for the Forests', an account of two decades of activism to save our iconic forests, and Nelson's key role in the conservation movement. As a result of direct action like treetop occupations, through to political campaigning, the country was gradually moved to accepting that the whole-sale harvesting of native timber was wrong.
