Amanda Clarke, computer programmer for over 15 years, uses Scratch to introduce kids to basic computer coding.
Amanda says, "With Scratch you can programme your own interactive games, stories and animations."
Scratch, a project of the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at MIT Media Lab, helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively - essential skills for life in the 21st century.
Suitable for children age 9-11 years olds.
Children need to bring a laptop. Booking is essential as spaces are limited.
