Jay Hutchinson: the archaeology of the discarded, forgotten and thrown away

Saturday 21st September-Sunday 1st December 2019

A body of textile work by the Dunedin based artist Jay Hutchinson, this exhibition questions the value we place on objects and the ways in which we interact with urban environment.
The archaeology of the discarded, forgotten and thrown away builds on Hutchinson’s work from the last two years as well as presenting new ‘discarded’ objects and an ambitious full sized embroidered fence.
