Your guide to events in Nelson, New Zealand
Thursday 12th September 2019
You're invited to discuss your thoughts and ideas with others in your community about how this region can become cleaner, safer and healthier.
Please invite or bring with you anyone you know who was affected by the droughts, storms, floods and fires of the last couple of years and has climate change on their minds. Ask people working on restoring wild places, keeping treasured traditions alive and building connections between local people and local places. And people thinking regeneratively, holistically, diversely or intergenerationally about our economy, society or environment... everyone is welcome!
This is one of five community conversations in Tasman that Julie Nevin is facilitating throughout September. Julie is a mum of two young children, a member of Zero Carbon Nelson Tasman, and candidate for Tasman District Council. She is taking the opportunity that the campaign offers to connect with people in the sustainability and resilience space. The results of these conversations will be taken to TDC regardless of the election outcomes. Find out more at http://julienevin.weebly.com.
