Richmond Library: Focus On The Environment – Extinction Rebellion

Wednesday 25th September 2019

This month we’re focusing on the environment at Richmond Library. We’ve organised a range of informative talks which are designed to broaden your understanding and awareness of environmental issues.

In this talk, Jose G Cano will be talking about Extinction Rebellion, a socio-political movement with the stated aim of using civil disobedience and nonviolent resistance to protest against climate breakdown, biodiversity loss, and the risk of social and ecological collapse.

Find out what kinds of people are involved in Extinction Rebellion, what they do, how, and why.

It’s free and everyone is welcome.
