Richmond Library: Focus On The Environment – Māori and The Land

Thursday 26th September 2019

This month we’re focusing on the environment at Richmond Library. We’ve organised a range of informative talks which are designed to broaden your understanding and awareness of environmental issues.

In this talk, Renee Thomas talks about kaitiakitanga (guardianship) and Māori relationships to the land.

Find out about the special relationship Māori have with the whenua (land) and grow your understanding of what it means to live in Aotearoa (New Zealand).

It’s free and everyone is welcome.
