Explore the World of Ancient Architects in a series of hands on creative workshops that combine Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.

Have you ever wondered how the Egyptians built their pyramids? Or why pagodas are always south facing? Time to discover the wonders of ancient architecture. Participants will recreate their own ancient world village using architectural design and model making. They will learn about truss bridge building, hydraulics and pneumatics to add features to their sites. During these creative workshops, students will learn important physics concepts, engineering techniques and how to use scale and ratio to recreate a model. The final presentation will involve learning to use STOP/GO animation to create a mini movie presentation for whanau.

Classes are limited to 12 students to ensure highest quality learning.
