Learn about one of Nelson’s earliest environmental advocates and pioneering 19th century farmer, in our newest display “James Marsden: The Quiet Environmentalist.”

Explore Isel House - the home and park of one of Nelson’s original estates. Discover stunning antique furniture, paintings and the elaborate ceramic collections of the Marsden family.
Learn about the restoration, botany and local stories of Isel and Stoke, or wander through the majestic park like gardens, with exotic trees, stream, orchard and original root cellar storehouse.

Open Tuesday to Sunday, 11am - 4pm.
Entry by Koha (donation).
