Beginners Home Brewing Beer Class

Saturday 8th February 2020

During this relaxed training afternoon, the League of Brewers team will run through some of the most important basics for people who are thinking about getting in to brewing, or who already brew but want to improve their results.

Held at the League of Brewers shop in Annesbrook. Most of the time is spent on a demonstration of the "Partial Extract" brewing method. This a simple brewing technique that beginners can use to start brewing respectable home-crafted beer without getting swamped in information or require large investments of time and money. It allows you to design and tweak your own recipes and allows you to brew the beer that you want to drink.

In addition, we will cover off a range of topics that are designed to help you get the best results with your brewing, no matter what method of brewing you use.

Topics to be covered include:

Cleaning and sanitation
Kit brewing – what to avoid and how to Pimp My Kit
Partial extract brewing
Fermentation and temperature control
Dry hopping
Making clear beer
Bottling Vs Kegging

No experience is necessary, just a relaxed afternoon to help you make better beer.

Tickets are limited to a total of 12 only.
