Takaka Library: Elizabeth Knox - The Absolute Book Tour

Tuesday 18th February 2020

Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to hear Elizabeth Knox, one of New Zealand’s leading writers, speak at Takaka Library.

Winner of 2019’s Prime Minister’s Award for Literary Achievement for Fiction, Elizabeth Knox is one of New Zealand’s leading writers. Now published in thirteen languages, The Vintner’s Luck won the Deutz Medal for Fiction in the 1999 Montana New Zealand Book Awards, and the Tasmania Pacific Region Prize.

Her most recent novel, The Absolute Book (published in September 2019), has been described as ‘a declaration of love for story, for literature, for libraries’ and ‘an unpredictable and intelligent work of imagination’.
