Give yourself a little mid-week tender loving care with Restorative Yoga...invite a state of deep relaxation into your body and mind through breathing techniques, slow and gentle movement, and postures that you relax into for several minutes with the support of a bolster, blanket and other props.
Relaxing into postures in this way activates the parasympathetic nervous system, or rest and digest response, essential for restoring and replenishing your body and mind, helping to alleviate the physical and mental effects of everyday stress, and to create balance.
Please bring a yoga mat and blanket. Bolsters and other equipment are provided.
