POSTPONED Richmond Library: How To Make Friends With Your Mind

Thursday 26th March 2020

>>> THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19 CONCERNS <<<

Have you heard of mindfulness? Are you curious about meditation? Satisfy your curiosity with this introduction to Tibetan-Buddhist meditation techniques.

In this talk we will discuss the way we perceive and react to our world, and how that can bring us either happiness or confusion. By understanding our mind and learning to deal with ourselves and others in a gentle way we can transform our daily lives and relationships.

Geshe Tharchin is the resident teacher at Chandrakirti Meditation Center in Upper Moutere.

Geshe-la’s main work is to share how Tibetan Buddhist techniques can be practically applied to our modern lives.

Everyone warmly welcome.
