The Art Of Letterpress

Thursday 6th August-Thursday 24th September 2020

This course is designed for those who are keen to explore traditional and modern letterpress techniques while creating their own unique artworks. Experience the world of hand set type alongside modern plate technology and understand how it all fits beautifully together in the here and now. Explore paper stocks, hand-mix inks, and print your creation on our vintage presses.

Led by printmaker Renee Hadlow, you’ll learn how the cultural heritage of fine press printing is making an impact on contemporary print today. Participants learn in a small, friendly group and will take home beautifully printed original works of art on paper.
