Pukapuka Talks: Fleeing to Freedom

Friday 23rd October 2020

Behrouz Boochani’s and Golriz Ghahraman’s refugee stories shine a devastating light on the fates of so many people, as borders close around the world. They appear together to discuss their books – No Friend but the Mountains: Writing from Manus Prison and Know Your Place.

We encourage you to pay what what you can; our suggestion is that those who are unwaged pay $8, those who earn minimum wage pay $12 and those who receive an above average salary pay $16.

Presented in association with the NZSA/PEN and Multicultural Nelson Tasman.
