Your guide to events in Nelson, New Zealand
Tuesday 26th-Wednesday 27th January 2021
This summer we bring you Shakespeare’s most farcical play. Slapstick and mistaken identity, shipwrecks and puns, bungling servants and Dukes. All delivered in Shakespeare’s delicious verse.
A crazy tale of twins separated in a shipwreck, a father facing peril to find them again and a wonderful happy ending with unexpected reunions.
Bring a picnic (or grab something from the foodstalls) and settle down to be delighted with music, comedy and Shakespeare’s poetry.
Nelson Summer Shakespeare has built a reputation for beautifully spoken and easily understandable Shakespeare. A joy for the whole family.
