This event will celebrate the rich culture of the Philippines. Hosted by the Nelson/Tasman Filipino Community Inc, the event will be a display of singing and dancing cultural performances, traditional costumes and food. The event aims to share with Nelson some joy, hope and happiness from the Filipino community and support all of those that miss their homelands and family back in the Philippines. The event will also allow Nelson Filipino elders to meet and connect with the community as a whole. A celebration would not be complete without food so the Filipino Community will be sharing their favourite and most popular dish from the Philippines which will be available for purchase during the event.
