Nelson Institute Talk. Dr Duncan Steel. "Satellites Spinning Around Earth"

Dr Duncan Steel: space scientist/astronomer now based in Nelson. A space researcher for forty years in the UK, USA, Australia, Sweden, Canada and NZ, he has worked for NASA, the European Space Agency, various universities and observatories, and also run his own space consultancy company.
Regarded as an expert on asteroids, comets, meteors and space debris, Duncan also conducts research in other areas of physics and space science: optics, radar, orbital dynamics, astrobiology (understanding life on Earth and the likelihood of extraterrestrial life).
This illustrated talk will be entertaining and informative.
