Motueka Library: Writing Workshops

Monday 16th August-Monday 6th September 2021

Be motivated to finish that work in progress or start something new.

These writing workshops are aimed at those who want to start something new - a novel, a memoir a short story - or perhaps you are struggling with writer’s block.

Your toolbox for novel writing is literally 26 letters, 4 characters, 17 genres, good dialogue and lots of hard work. A regular writing habit helps too. So what’s stopping you?

Be motivated to finish that work in progress or start something new. The tools discussed at the workshop will help you figure out how to:

>Show and not tell

>Understand the 17 genres

>Use the different points of view

>Identify the 4 main characters

>Develop a writing habit

Join award-winning journalist Bettina Fautley for this 4 week interactive writing course.

Workshops to be held on Mondays - 16th August, 23rd August, 30th August & 6th September.
