FANDEMONIUM 17-23 October - Sci Fi and Fantasy Collide in the Library

From urban fantasy to magical realism, angels to taniwha, the writings of Elizabeth Knox, HG Parry and AJ Fitzwater showcase the depth and diversity of the fantasy genre in New Zealand.

AJ Fitzwater lives in Christchurch, New Zealand. They have published a variety of short fiction, and their books are “No Man’s Land” and “The Voyages of Cinrak the Dapper”.

H.G. Parry is the author of The Unlikely Escape of Uriah Heep, A Declaration of the Rights of Magicians, and its sequel, A Radical Act of Free Magic. She currently lives in a book-infested flat on the Kāpiti Coast in New Zealand.

Elizabeth Knox CNZM is the author of thirteen novels, three novellas, and a collection of essays. Dreamhunter’s sequel Dreamquake, 2007, was named an ALA, and New York Library best book. . Her latest novel is The Absolute Book, which was published in New Zealand in 2019
