Nelson Institute Talk: Novel Foods from Ancient Crops. Eliot Masters

Eliot Masters spend many years researching and recording traditional agroforestry systems in Africa, looking at cultivated and natural plant products.
He developed African regional initiatives on the shea butter tree for the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (2004-2007), and convened numerous regional events on other natural products for the World Agroforestry Centre (2008-2010).
He is now a permanent academic staff member at the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT), where he teaches sustainability, supply chain management and economics in the postgraduate and undergraduate applied business programmes.
