A wonderful free experience. Vesak is a major religious event in Sri Lanka to celebrate the birth, enlightenment and passing away of Lord Buddha. Vesak Lanterns take a special place in the celebrations. The lantern is made up of recycled pallets, cardboards, papers, metal and led lights. The whole lantern is decorated with painstaking handmade carvings. All attendees will be given a refreshing complimentary cup of Ceylon tea with a traditional Sri Lankan snack.
