Your guide to events in Nelson, New Zealand
Sunday 5th June 2022
The concert is the highlight of the Ceol Aneas Irish Music Festival. This is a rare opportunity to experience homegrown Irish traditional music at its very best.
Featuring Evey McAuliffe (traditional song and bodhran), Rennie Pearson (flute), James McNamara and Brendyn Montgomery (fiddle), Bob McNeill (guitar), Duncan Davidson (button accordion and whistle), Karen Reid (whistle and flute) and Steve McGlone (bouzouki). For the first time, this year's concert will also showcase the best of uilleann pipes with three expert pipers: Sean Connolly, Kris Nielsen and Pete Egli.
This concert guarantees an evening of spellbinding music that traditional music fans cannot afford to miss. Expect lively Irish music and “craic” with toe-tapping tunes.
