Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō Whakapapa Whenua

(One of the 70+ events being held during Tuku 22 Whakatū Heritage Months.)
Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō Tīpuna arrived in the north island of Aotearoa in the Kurahaupō waka between the 13th and 14th centuries.
From the mid-1500s the iwi started to migrate south and eventually settled in Te Tauihu o te Waka-a-Māui.
This bus tour will traverse the footsteps of our tīpuna, taking you to some of the areas which are significant in the history of our iwi.
