Individual and team events in NZs fastest growing watersport - waka ama.
From Tamariki ages 5 and up to Rangatahi to over 70 year olds.

Waka will race on Friday from Tahunanui beach on a course incorporating Fifeshire Rock - Urenui in a relay event in single and double canoes.
6 person novice waka crews will also race a similar course on Friday .
Saturday will see a longer course also starting at Tahunanui beach and paddling to Oyster Island and back in 6 person waka.

Spectators are welcome with great vantage points on the beach and Rocks Road
