Under A Celtic Moon

Saturday 2nd December 2023

Scottish born folk blues jazz singer songwriter Isabella (Izzy) Miller Bell Aka Ma Bell makes a return to Nelson and Tasman for a not to be missed night of superb acoustic sounds.

Drawing on her Celtic connections Ma Bell dons the mantle of Madame Tragedie to tell her story of the blues. A story which began in 1949 in the once shipbuilding Clydeside town of Greenock.

Coming from a family of singers and theatre folk Ma Bell is the real deal, an authentic well travelled blues artist with a back pack full of songs and stories that will lift you up to the dizziest of heights and cast you down to the darkest of nights, leaving no stone un-turned.
