In this concert Ma Bell dons the mantle of Madame Tragedie, drawing upon her Celtic Connections to tell her story of the blues. A story which began in 1949 in a council housing estate in the once Clydeside shipbuilding town of Greenock in Scotland. Coming from a long line of singers and theatre folks, Ma Bell is the real deal, a consummate singer songwriter, a story-teller who leaves no stone unturned.
