Associate Professor Logan Walker will discuss advances in understanding genetic mutations in BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes and how a new standardized protocol helps oncologists interpret test results, guiding cancer prevention and treatment.
Professor Gabi Dachs will present her research on the role of vitamin C in cancer, exploring its potential benefits and limitations as part of treatment.
Dr Elisabeth Phillips will showcase her bioengineering model that studies the influence of fat cells on breast cancer growth and spread, identifying new diagnostic markers and treatment targets.
