This is an informative, interesting and entertaining event put on by Waimea and Nelson Soroptimists in conjunction with the Nelson/ Tasman Climate Forum's action week. It is to demonstrate ways of stopping clothing and textiles going to landfills, by repairing, reusing and restyling. It is aimed more at students from year 7 up. They will model their restyled clothing with prizes given for "best background story", creativity, and workmanship. Entry is free, and light refreshments will be available for a small charge.
